NETBALL BALL SIZES

If you’re looking to buy a netball ball but aren’t sure what size ball you need you’ve come to the right place! Typically, players use one of two netball sizes, with age determining which size netball should be used.

Below we’ve created a netball ball size chart to show you what size netball you need.

As the chart shows, children aged 10 and under should be using a size 4 netball. Size 4 netballs make it much easier for younger children to pick the sport up and control passes.

Size 5 netballs are used by players older than 10. Classed as a ‘full size’ netballs, this is the official size netball ball used in senior training and matches.
